Question:
How do Botox, Dysport, Vistabel, Aquamid, Restylane, Perlane, and Esthelis differ from each other?
Answer:
What all these products have in common is that they are injected into the skin. Aquamid, Restylane, Perlane and Esthelis are dermal fillers, and have several uses, such as filling out furrows in the face, or accentuating the cheekbones. Aquamid is permanent, while Restylane, Perlane and Esthelis give a temporary result. Botox, Dysport and Vistabel contains the poison "Botulinum Toxin" that prevents the release of signals between the nerves and muscles. This relaxes the muscles, reducing the dynamic/mimic wrinkles.
